Translated from original German description: In October 1926, Emmi Wernicke published her small textbook ‶German Poster Writing※ in Bremen. Emmi Wernicke taught at her father's private business school, who also appears as the publisher of the book. There she had recognized the need for poster fonts that were easy to write with a pen, and she had compiled a series of these fonts on 31 tablets, starting with a simple printed script, to be written with a Redis nib, through to various blackletter scripts written with a broad nib . I've digitized some of these fonts, one of which is their interpretation of a Schwalbacher.
