About Old Elm Font

Proudly presenting a rugged vintage slab serif typeface illustrated by hand for an authentic old school look and feel. I originally sketched the characters with a pencil by hand, and then traced them by hand via a pen before scanning and converting to the actual font.

Four variations Included: Four unique variations are included. Select the option that works best for each design project:

  • Regular
  • Rough
  • Smooth
  • Stamped

72 Characters Included: Few things are more frustrated than finding the perfect font only to realize it doesn't include that punctuation character , or even simple number you need. I didn't skimp on the characters. You get every single character on a U.S. keyboard, plus the British Pound symbol, the Euro symbol, and the U.S. cent symbol. 72 characters in all.

The Formats You Want: Both OTF (OpenType) and TTF (TrueType) fonts are included, so you're sure to have the format you need.

Perfect for High-Impact Designs: This font is is an strong option when used as a display font for headlines, or logos. If you are going for a vintage look, or a hand crafted look this could be the one. This original font delivers a bold high-impact statement with a hand-lettered touch. What are you waiting for?
