About Karla Family font

Karla Font Family is a grotesque sans serif typeface family that supports languages that use the Latin script and the Tamil script. This is the Latin script part of the family, with Roman and Italic styles in two weights, Regular and Bold.

This is the Latin part of the family, which has been expanded now to a variable font with a weight axis ranging from ExtraLight to ExtraBold plus full support of Western, Central, and South-Eastern European languages.

The Tamil parts are available from the Early Access page.

Karla Variable Font

This download contains Karla as both variable fonts and static fonts.

Karla is a variable font with this axis:
wght

This means all the styles are contained in these files:
Karla-VariableFont_wght.ttf
Karla-Italic-VariableFont_wght.ttf

If your app fully supports variable fonts, you can now pick intermediate styles
that aren’t available as static fonts. Not all apps support variable fonts, and
in those cases you can use the static font files for Karla:
